330ml bottle. Hazy, grey-ish, dark brown colour with average, frothy, off-white to beige head. Herbal hoppy aroma, herbal-spicy, herbal-soapy, hints of juniper berry, laurel, pine needles & more flavours of that field (Bärwurz, Kräuterschnaps), a touch of sweet-ish bubblegum (Hubba Bubba). Taste is herbal, herbal-spicy, minimally sweet malty basis, slightly watery. No typical Weizen notes detectable, hard to believe the herbal notes stem from genuine hop varieties and not from herbs used as hop surrogate. Not bad though, delivers a new combination of herbal flavours different from the more familiar, bath salt-like, soapy examples.

Stark karbonisierter Antrunk, deutlich bitter. Im Mittelteil malziger aber weithin recht bitter, die Hopfigkeit kommt dabei deutlich zu kurz. Im Nachgeschmack zusätzlich dunkles Getreide. 9/9/10/8/9/9

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber to chestnut-brown colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Spicy hoppy aroma with notes of herbs and spruce, backed by a mildly wheat-character, accompanied by hints of caramel, traces of bubblegum and a rather restrained fruity touch. Slightly bitter flavour with a whiff of acidity, light body feel with a prickly carbonation. Mildly wheaty base with spots of cara-malt and a discreetly fruity touch, again present herbal-spicy hoppy notes; moderately bitter and delicately tart finish with herbal and sprucy hoppy accents. Uncommon Wheat, nevertheless likeable. 14.VIII.14
