Sample at Tide's Residence, Helsinki. Vintage 2014! Color is cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Ripe fruits, some medicinal elements, raisins, dryness and malts. Very interesting!

Bottle at the Rate Beer Awards Festival Bottle Share. Brown with lace. Nose of caramel, wood, brown sugar. Sweet, slightly woody, caramel flavors. Decent.

Clear dark golden with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel. Flavors are woody, caramel and brown sugar

Bomber shared at a tasting. Pours a clear red with fine particles. Thin tan head, poor head retention. Aroma of vanilla, toffee, raisin, booze, wood. The taste is toffee, spice, caramel, toffee, wood, booze, mild green apple. Medium bodied, hot, low carbonation.

Draft - Toffee and some oak notes with light bourbon sweetness. Deep cloudy copper with a rich beige head.lots of oaky note, light booze and caramel. A bit edgy with some hops in the finish and some heat on the throat. This need a touch of rounding, which age may provide.

Sample from bottle at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Dark brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of malt, caramel and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, oaky vanilla and resiny hops. The finish is malty up front with an oak aftertaste. Above average overall.
