Dark brown black colour, small golden head. Aroma is roasty, little bit of smoke, little bit of soy sauce. Taste is nice enough, lots of roast, light fruity element in the background, bit of creaminess. Nothing very exciting, but nothing wrong with it and easy drinking.

Can. Pours quite dark brown with some brownish/beige foam on top. Nose is lightly sour, light roast and some soft sweet elements. Taste reveals dry beer, good roast character, light burnt bitterness coming out in the end. Touch of smoke and some blackberries. Decent dry stout, nothing too special but tasty and good example of the style.

Can. Nice choclate nose, cocoa, brown sugar, roasted wood. Black with a tall, bubbly tan head. Niely roasted, chocoalty. Coffee, pretty big flavor. Ligth body, but not thin. roasty finish. Good dry stout, the best beer I have had from them by far.

Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Dark Ale Listed as a Stout on ratebeer, served in a shaker pint. It pours a dark reddish black with a rich savory chocolate with dark stone fruit notes. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. The taste is quite solid semi-sweet dark chocolate, a bit roasty, some biscuit. Surprisingly solid compared to their other beers. This is much much better.
