Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy, glowing gold with a thin white head that lingers. White grapefruit and lemon zest on the nose with some light pepper and crackery malt. Active carbonation that really scrubs the palate. More pithy bitterness and lemon zest. Crisp and dry finish that lingers. Super refreshing. Tap at Komachi. Bright gold, hazy to cloudy, low head. Lemony hop nose, medium malt, light biscuit. Crisp light malt flavor, a bit of biscuit and cracker. Light, with a nice bit of acidity. Good bitterness. Very much a new world interpretation.
