It's not brown! Golden colour. Aroma is usual macro type smells but with a hint of cocoa and candy. Taste is initially ok, bit too sweet, but some chocolate and a light Belgian dubbel character. Bit confused though. Loses its appeal fast as it warms.

Can from Family Mart. Drank straight from the can. Light Belgian yeast character with some licorice and alcohol on the nose. Light metallic notes with a medium to medium thin body. Good carbonation with some candied caramel sweetness on the palate. Not overly sweet though. As it warms it rears its ugly head. Slam it quickly. --- Beer merged from original tick of Brown Belg on 31 Oct 2015 at 09:12 - Score: 5

Can. Very pale amber orange color, clear, high, fine head. Spicy Belgian yeast nose, caramel malts, thin. Metallic. Ok flavor, caramel malts, minerals, biscuits, still very thin, somewhat balanced, though, and not cloying. A weird Japo-Belgian conglomerate, not terrible but not good either.
