Ohh ive had a few of these growing up. Discount pilsner at the local store. Yellow with a white head. Hay, straw, metal, corn & grass. Hops & malts. Slight sweet before a rather sour hop end hits you. The body is watery & thin! But hey, what can you get for 53 cents??

Can. It pours a quite pale golden body with a fingerthich white head. Sweetish, pale-malty and fruity nose, but very weak. The flavor isn’t much more interesting, still weak, with the typical flavors of an adjunct-driven pale lager, but the ingredients list says it’s a pure beer. Some bitterness and metallic notes in the finsh. Quite thin on the palate. Well, it’s not filled with off-flavors, and it’s far from being filled with flavor at all. It has some quenching qualities, but I’m still surprised I’m revisiting it. Rating the same as last time: 3-2-3-2-6-1.6. (081031)

Can. Golden with white head. The head disappears rather quick. Lots of water in this one! Both aroma and taste is weak. Some sweetness in taste, and a tiny little hint of hops at the end. One of the least interesting danish discount beers. (050926)

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden beer with a collapsing head. Very ordinary - a bit on the hoppy side. Originally brewed by now defunct "SlotsmΓΈllen" in Kolding. 290900

A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is slightly hoppy. The taste is slightly bitter with a slight note of sourness from the brewing cereal - very sweet for a pilsener. An OK pilsener.
