Tap at Craft Beer Base Bud. Aroma pine and choc, taste is good, chocolate sweetness, bit of caramel, hoppiness at the back but still there. Good stuff.

Tap at Bud Pitch black, slightly cloudy, low fine head. Chocolate, cascade-like citrus hops, lemon, orange nose. No roast. Full-on chocolate and citrus flavor, rich malt, good hops, no roast, as I like it. Medium bitterness. Good.

On cask at Boundary Bay, pours a deep dark amber tinged brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is beautifully roasted, with dry roasted malts upfront, followed by some woody piney hops. Flavour brings out wonderfully dry roasted malt, a little bitter espresso and some piney hops. The balance is superb, balancing the hops and roast beautifully. Excellent stuff.

Dark, almost opaque brown color, beige-brownish head, lace. Aroma is mainly pine needles. Medium-bodied. Flavor has suprisingly first butterscotch, buttery notes! Then piney, hoppy flavors. Dark Czech pils? :) Aftertaste is piney hoppy with sweetier notes.
