Craft Beer Picnic. Nice. Hoppiness is subdued, decent maltiness, chocolate and roast. Bit of pine.

Good roasted malt and decent hop character, though felt it could have been amped a bit more and a touch sweet, but overall enjoyable.

Keyaki Fall 2015. Pitch black with a light brown soapy head. Roasted malt, fennel seed, prune, cacao and some light smoke. Taste is very dry with good carbonation. Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. Lovely tan head on a pitch black beer. Nose of licorice, citrus, chocolate, a bit of coffee. Dry, somewhat woody flavor, citrus, licorice, a bit of chocolate. Well done, dry B-IPA.
