With an intense and very, very special flavour. That's our Epidor. A beer that's as good as it sounds, because an Epidor couldn't be better. Made with caramel malt. Yes, you heard right, caramel malt, and with such a compact body and unique aroma that each sip will be an awesome experience.

Appearance: clear amber with a two finger tall off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Caramel, grain, esters, grassy hop. Light to medium sweet, light bitter. Ligh alcohol presence. Mouth fel: Medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Not an Imperial pilsner of course, but enjoyable.

Many thanks for this red beer to Mario.

Clear amber to orange beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, caramel notes, bit oxidized, some diacetyl. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, nice bitterness, bit metallic, some marzipan, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: hoppy, metallic, pretty oxidized, hint of caramel, sweet touch, some cough syrup, cow fodder.

Can, bb 1/21. Amber with a near white head that lasts OK. 3+ Aroma of pears and prunes, some toasted grain. And so it tastes: quite sweet at first with some bitterness and booze helping to relieve things at the end. Not good but not a disaster.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep amber pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Good retention, lasting head, good lacing on the glass as it goes down. Not bad on the nose, malty, notes of caramel, a bit toasted, sugary, some liquor notes. Medium body, soft carbonation. Oily texture, chewy, soft mouthfeel. Bittersweet taste, more on the sweet side. Aroma is heavily malty, strong caramel presence, toasted, wood notes. Grainy, mild herbal spiciness, hints of sugar. Quite boozy, strong alcohol presence, dry, lingering burn on the tongue. Some off-notes that are also quite noticeable, stale grass and cardboard. Medium lasting finish. Drinkable but not something I'd go back to.
