Distilled Hop Oil IPA

We harness the complex flavors of just-picked hops with Hop Hunter IPA using an all-new method of steam distilling wet hops before they even leave the fields. This revolutionary technique captures and intensifies the natural flavors, creating a unique and intensely aromatic beer. Our custom process gathers pure hop oil which, when combined with traditional whole-cone hops in the brew kettle, makes for an incredible IPA experience.

Bottle from Total Wine & More, St. Petersburg. Light gold, clear, well-carbonated. Fresh resinous hop in the aroma with a hint of vanilla. Extremely bitter taste with an almost astringent finish. Pine and bitter herbs in the sumptuous aftertaste. Nicely carbonated on the finish. Lovely stuff.

Good beer. Aroma is super fresh hops, a little fruit and malt. Flavor’s more bitter than sweet, a tad medicinal in the finish. Body’s a touch thin. Very drinkable.

Blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have well rounded, earthy hop notes. There’s a decent malty backbone throughout. Tastes extremely fresh and intense but is not overly bitter.

12 oz bottle from De Bierkoning (pkd 04/27/16), Golden yellow color, mostly clear. White head with some lacing. Aroma’s: Resinous with some malty sweetness. Retronasal it’s resin, bitter, light malts. Flavor is moderate bitter, but with a malty backbone. Medium bodied. Lots of resinous hoppiness in the finish, but the bitterness remains moderate. Really fresh bottle next time.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, malt, and fresh hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, spices, hops, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.
