Borefts VIII. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy dark tan head. Smooth palate. Soft but rich dark malts, mild dark malt cream. A little emulsion paint. Mellow smooth espresso. Light spice. Smooth dry finish. Decent, just lacks a little pixie dust.

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, 2016. Pours black with medium tan head. Roasted malts, lots of coffee, cocoa, sweet with bitter coffee finish. Smooth. Full bodied, soft carbonation. Very good.

[9/23/16] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day one. Black with a beautiful brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roast. Bittersweet flavor with roast, coffee, chocolate, and a bitter finish. Full-bodied.

Tap@Borefts 2016, Bodegraven - black pour with a tan head. Dark roasted malty aroma and taste with prominent coffee and chocolate, some caramel sweetness, some burnt malty notes, coffee roasted finish.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured an oily dark brown with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry spicy coffee chocolate palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
