Draft: Poured a deep brown with red edges, head is off white to beige. Aroma is super boozy, dark fruits, dates. Taste is boozy, malty, some alcohol heat, dark fruits, dates, figs and raisins. Light sweetness of sugar towards the end.

At the Japan Brewer's Cup. Aroma is dark fruit and booze. Taste raisins, fruity, full bodied. Quite like it. Totally flat. Thick and fruity. Good stuff but would be great to stick it in a barrel for a while.

Tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Outsider Pitbull Barleywine 15% Reddish brown almost black with a sweet caramel/molasses aroma. Apparently, aged two years, full bodied and sweet with boozy heat but tobacco and caramel. Lovely stuff. 3.8-9 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ink brown color no head. Oak, plums, iodine in the nose. Tries to be like vintage ale and fails. Not bad.

Tap at Popeye. Nose is plum, caramel, chocolate, wine, crackers, brown sugar. Big fruity flavor, brown sugar, ume, grapes. A bit sugary, raisins. Nice but still needs time to really shine.
