Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Slightly hazy, dark brown to black with a beige head. Very roasty, malty aroma of hard roasted coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and ash. Slightly bitter, very roasty and malty taste of hard roasted coffee, licorice, dark chocolate and some ash, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter and dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, stable, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, not much else. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very bitter start, coffee, more coffee, some bitter hops, very roasted. Aftertaste: more coffee, extremely bitter. Don't like this stuff...

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016 day 2. Dark brown with creme head. Big deep roasted chocolate malts. Dark ground coffee roast. Big sweet, mild bitter. Medium body, low carbonation. Good coffee aroma with cocoa sweet and mild bitter edges. Nice.

Tap at Borefts. Black with light brown head. Sweet chocolate, quite some sweet coffee, brown sugar, toffee, light grass, a bit wood and chalk in the background. Over medium sweet, under medium bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel and mouth coating carbonation.

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven Friday 23rd September 2016. Dark brown on the pour with a good waft of coffee picked up on the aroma straight away. Coffee, chocolate and a touch of caramel combine in the mouth, mmhhh... nice beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Tap. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is coffee, espresso, quite aromatic. Taste is the same, some sweet boozy aspect as well. Very nice!

Malzig herber, eher trockener Antrunk. Unter der Trockenheit leider das Malzaroma deutlich und kann sich nicht entfalten, wenig würzig, spät mit alkoholischen Noten. Etwas Schokolade. 10/8/8/9//8
