Bottle at home. Two year old. Pours a clear dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, bread, grass, oak, grains and weeds. Flavour of grass, bread, wood, salty licorice, caramel, grapefruit and some alcohol. A little dry ending. Has a slick and slightly soft mouth feel, full-bodied and medium bitterness. Interesting and rich doppelbock with a hoppy touch rather than sweet.

Från skriftlig baklogg. Noterat vid Örebro whisky och ölmässa 2017. Rödbrun vätska, gräddigt men tunt skum. Svaga toner i doften, lätt sädig. En aning chokladmalt men överlag intetsägande. Smaken är tunn och vattnig. Det känns aningar av choklad och torkad frukt men de är försvinnande tunna.

Flaska från SB. Mörkröd bärnstensfärg, klar med stabil krämig skumpuck. Söt maltig doft med honung, karamell och lite sötare bröd. Massiv kropp och inte ett uns av alkoholen slår igenom. Det märks att Närke jobbat ihop med Gänstaller. Stora, gyllene smaker av honung, säd, nybakat bröd, aromatiska äpplen, hö. En riktigt bra dubbelbock.

Bottle from SB. Dark amber with beige head. Caramel, grass and malt. Some grains. Slightly to the sweeter side. Nice, mellow carbonation. No flaws, but not that interesting.

Tap at SBWF. Clear amber color, small steady white head and lace. Grassy, woody aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy, sweetish malty tradtional German bock. Would drink another one.
