Can from 7-11 store by the highway in Chiba pref, Japan. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, malty, caramel, slightly metallic.

500 ml can to my Krug mug. Rather pretty red-orange-brown color, high, fine head. Nose is faint caramel, some grass, some slightly husky grain. Flavor starts nice enough. Mid palate is sweet caramel and fruit, then it thins out and gets ridiculously astringent. The metallic bitterness lasts forever. Seems not to be the hops, but the grains? Body very thin, malt character vanishes. Crazily harsh. Hope they do better with the next three in the series.
