Small glass on draft at Dig Beer Bar in Osaka. Black with light tan head. Aromas of whiskey, vanilla, sweet booze. Tastes of whiskey, dark chocolate, light oak, subtle tartness. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Balance is a bit off for me.

Tap at Dig. Black, or very dark brown, orange tints. Lace. Nose of bourbon, caramel, vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Very sweet and carmelly, toffee. Interesting and enjoyable, though not all that coffee stout-like.

Draft - Light roasty and boozy. I don’t get any bean, nor any coffee in this just light roast and some whisky.

On tap at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of intense whiskey barrels, with not much else that seems to be in here. Flavour is very boozy and whiskey-dominated, drowning out any coffee notes that might be here. Very boozy and barrel-heavy. Not so good.
