Tap at the pub. Aroma is good, oaty, bit of treacle, light caramel sweetness, chewy. Lots of malt. Nice.

dark brown color. Nice malty mouth, very earthy, dark chocolate, smooth body with a touch of wood. Very nice

Handpump at the brewpub. Malty nose, chocolate, a touch of smoke, fudge, caramel, earthy hops. Dark brown with orange, cloudy, light fine head. Light body, malty, nicely balanced. Rich and satisfying.
