Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5
Taster at the brewpub. Dark amber color, almost flat. Nose of somewhat harsh, spicy malt. Very estery, somewhat spicy flavor, sweet caramel malts. Malt harshness is off-putting, and too estery for the style.
