0,355 l bottle .Pours almost black with small, tan, lasting head. Aroma of deep roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, light coffee, somewhat sweet. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Mouthfeel is oily, carbonation subtle. Finish is medium long, a burst of sweet cocoa followed by subtle dark chocolate, coffee and pleasant bitterness. Very pleasant and properly cozy for winter Sundays.

Lightly smoky milk chocolate malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate brown head. Moderately sweet, smoky creamy milk chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body but pretty light for an imperial stout.

Bottle (8/27/20) pour from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is opaque black (dark brown at the bottom of the glass) with a bunch of white floaties, light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width light-brown creamy foam head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is mellow roasted malt, strong lactose, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is chocolate milk, mild roasted bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with creamy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with mild nuttiness and lingering roasted bitterness to offset the sweet. Overall, not blowing me away with complexity but a nice, strong milk stout. A bit overcarbonated.

Bottle, courtesy of TizzleJizzle. Pours black with a tan cap. Chocolate, rich cherry, little coffee, slight liquorice herbal thing, little sweet, little bitter, nice roasty chocolate finish. Medium body. Good.

12 oz. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, light dark bread note. Pours inky black with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is lightly sweet, roasty, with a moderate herbal bitterness. Tastes kind of English. Alcohol is hidden well. Somewhat harsh carbonation. Good beer overall.
Gnarly amounts of vanilla for a 35k check-in milk stout. The hidden gems you find...

On tap at the DFW Flying Saucer. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is heavy roast, walnuts, maple syrup, and brown sugar. Sweet and sugary, with a nice, mellow, sharp bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, crisp mouthfeel. Pretty quality.
