Just not a lot here. Minor notes of crisp malt and a slight floral bitterness, but mostly a boring mass-produced Euro pils. Bleh.

500 ml can, Aldi. I'd like an IPA, but I have none, so cheap swill it is. This was leftover form Dilek's 4-pack. Clear gold with a white head. Ya know, this smells like it might hit the spot. Grassy, bready, light metallic notes, but nothing off-putting. Grasses, light rice, dried flowers, light glue. Not half-bad, but my palate is currently way off...

Big 16 pounder can from Aldi. Clean clear pale yellow pour with a foamy while head. Smell is typical euro pils that has taken the trip to the americas. A little metalllic on the olfactory. Yea, straight away eruo pilsner. That typical sharper pils bite is ever present. A little astringent near the finish. Could be a little better behaved. Overall decent pale brew.

500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden, foamy head. Grain, hay, grassy hops, metallic notes. Malty sweetness, metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry metallic sweet finish. A bit dull and rather average.

(Can) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, hay, grass, honey and a touch of lemon peel. Malty taste with bread, grass, honey, herbs, a touch of citrus and a mild grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Possibly not fancy, but clean, fresh and quite tasty fo a pale macro lager. Quite nice.

500ml can. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is malt, wet grain, faint grassy hop. Taste is grainy, crackers, grass, light bitter finish. A bit stale.

Advent day 1 on Aldi calendar. Clear light gold and one finger head. Nose is grains and cardboard. Tastes of wet paper, grains, lemon, sour mash some mineral qualities. Not greatest aftertaste.
