Bottle @ home thx to benzai (who’s being a little harsh today!). Very, very murky orange to brown colour with a small, creamy off-white head. Smells sweaty feet, hops, grapefruit. Tastes malty, quite sweet (sticky), hops, bitter.. Bit barleywine like. Sticky sweet instead of fresh and crispy bitter. Medium to full body, soft carbo.

Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruity hops, caramel malts, hints of glue and berries. Taste is malty and sweet with some hints of berries and toffee. Finish is sticky and sweet with notes of glue, berries and hops. Too sweet and malty IIPA, quite unbalanced.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours murky amber-brown, with a thin light beige head. The nose is sweet fruit, pine, resin, caramel, red grape and some tangy citrus. The taste is brown bread, sweet caramel, tangy marmalade, spice, prune, raisin, currant and some alcohol warmth, with a bitter finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Ok.

Cloudy amber brown beer. Frothy off white head. Nice head that tastes of creamy grapefruit and tangerine hop and a little honey! Slightly dry palate. Mild malt base with a little caramel. Soft grapefruit marmalade with a pinch of hop spice. Finishes semi dry with a trace of caramel again. The beer is decent, the head great!!

500ml bottle. Cloudy pink amber with huge stable lacing frothy to creamy off-white head. Nice hop aroma, sweet fruit, strawberry, lychee, also some herbs and spices, laurel. Taste is (too) sweet, has exotic fruit, a sharp hop note does not more than flashing up near to the end, but hasn’t the stamina to keep the sweetness in check. More a sedating Imperial IPA, not one that wakes you up by its hoppyness.

bouteille 50cl from DeMolen beershop.
