(Bottle) Reddish amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, bitter orange marmalade, citrus peel and a touch of caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, a touch of a caramel and a finish with a generous citric bitterness and a warming dash of alcohol. More than medium body, fairly sweet, with a slightly metallic touch. Very nice.

Clear orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Bitter and dry finish with some burning alcohol. The bitterness is very rough and the sweetness does get a bit sticky. 060411

Bottle@home. Pours dark amber with a nice long lasting ofwhite head. Aroma is hops with some floral notes, citrus, pine, peach balanced with malt flavors of caramel and vanila and abit of yeast. Taste is pine, oranges, spices, caramel, aftertaste is bitter with some warming alcohol. Good stuff

Very good dense beige head over hazy red-amber beer. Nose of pure exotic fruit: passion fruit, grapefruit, and especially lytchee and rosewater. Dry hopsacks and a bit of ureum. Hops to the fore! Bitterish fruity, citrussy, flavours over caky background, suggesting a sweetness that is overwhelmed by the bitter hop onslaught. Yet, there is balance, if skewed. Banana- and orangepeel, and also, a bit surprising, a buttermilk flavour retronasal. Nearly chewy, but not heavy-bodied; refreshing. Quite good IIPA!

On tap at Lord Nelson in Copenhagen. A cloudy, orange-like beer with small white foam. Fruity aroma with a lot of tropical fruits. Nice fruity taste with pineapple and some citrus. Also malt sweetness, candy and soap. Bitter aftertaste. Stable and good but perhaps not so advanced. Easy to drink.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a light tan head. Aroma was full of floral, citrus and fruity hops with a bit of pine underlying. The flavor brought out the pine notes much more with some spice and citrus as undertones.

(Re-rate, draught at Pikkulintu, 20121122) The beer poured brown and quite clear. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and almost white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tangerine, grapefruit, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. Way better than the bottle I had. The taste was still messy.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-07-03) Reddish brown and cloudy with floating bits all over the beer. Very large, long lasting and lightly dirty brown coloured head. Strongly hops and pine in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with with little carbonation. Malts, hops, yeast, some bitterness, lightly sweetness, pine and metallicness in tastee. Malty aftertaste. Old rating: 8-2-6-3-10=2.9
