Update (original rating, 4.4) - I recently had the bottled version of this beer, and it was not nearly the same as I remembered it to be - still a great beer, but the fresh, juiciness of the draught version is non-existant - do get some from the source! [growler] This is one great IPA - coper in color, with impressive lacing - crisp, fresh, mouth-watering hop aroma - wonderful balance of woody, hop flavors and mild, malty, sweet flavors - pine, sweetened grapefruit juice, gingerbread, biscuits - hops finish clean, but maltiness sticks around keeping your salivary glands working - if this brewery takes off and they bottle this stuff, it may well dethrone Hop Devil as the best IPA on the east coast - it’s certainly the best in the northeast.
