Bottled 330ml@VWPBF Clear copper color, small white head. Caramel, some ryeish maltyness. Light bodied, quite watery palate. Harsh maltyness, light caramel. Reminds me about Newcastle Brown Ale.

Canned@vPBFII (Thanks Kim S!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some mild toffee and slight hoppy notes. Flavour is caramel, fruits, some wood and mild resiny notes. Balanced, but quite boring

Can. Rather lame nose of sweet caramel and molasses, and a bit of dark fruits. Pretty enough--deep amber with orange, clear, nice head. Roasty caramel in the mouth at first, moving on to something quite like peanuts. slightly roasty finish. Rather thin body. Well, what did I expect? Not completely terrible, but no thanks.
