Tap at Brimmer Beer Box. Dark brown/black colour. Not much head. Little bit of golden lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, bit of coffee. As you would expect. Taste is nice. Little bit of coffee bitterness, lots of roast malt, touch of cream. Something slight floral maybe at the back. Roasty finish. Like the porter with the plums replaced by coffee. Isn't that how stouts and porters always work?

Draught at Yellow Ape. Black with lace. Nose of coffee, roasted malts, a bit subdued. Nice balanced flavor of chocolate, light coffee, cream. Good sweetness, slightly nutty. Light but full body. Tasty. A solid dry stout.
