Barrel at the Barrel House. Crazy fruit cocktail nose, vanilla yogurt, funk. Exquisite nose, though somewhat faint. Watermelon dark pink color with lace. Quite sour, lots of lactic yogurt, good fruit: apricot, raspberry, strawbeery, cherry. Light dust and barnyard. Fantastic.

Barrel at the Barrel House. Pours hazy/murky dark apricot. Odor is sort of tinned fruit juice - sharply sour - certainly apricot is present. Flavor is nicely sour with apricot and cherry. The bourbon/vanilla/oak is rather overcome by all the excellent flavors. Finishes smooth, tart and sour.

On tap at Cascade Brewing, pours a cloudy / opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma of mixed berries, bourbon, slight tartness and slight sweetness. Flavour brings out a lot of the mixed fruit, especially berry-wise, not much of the bourbon, but I think the barrels take out some of the sourness. Very nice.
