This delightful brew is a medium-bodied pale ale that is balanced to perfection. It has a fresh hop aroma and a mild sweetness that finishes crisp and clean. This pale ale is brewed in the American style using two Northwest hop varieties, Centennial and Columbus. The fresh hop flavor is balanced with 2-row Pale and Crystal malts

Pours clear amber into a Shaker. Off-white head quickly recedes to nothing. Hay, bread and mild citrus aromas. Medium-bodied with bread upfront turning to mild sweet citrus and summer fruits in the medium length finish.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 12/5/10

Aroma: The nose is floral hops, crystal malts, citrus, and some caramel as well
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a small white head and some lace
Flavor: Its well-balanced with a nice mild-medium sweetness and an medium bitterness
Palate: It has a nice smooth feel, a fairly soft carbonation, and a high drinkability
Overall Impression: I found this to be a really enjoyable and highly drinkable pale ale. One that I could see myself enjoying in the future as a go-to session type of beer. It is fairly simple, but it works well. This one is quite pleasant and palatable. This is really a nice pale ale, surprisingly good even. At 5.4% this is basically a wonderful session beer (5.4 % is close enough to session level for me).

Bottle. Light amber with almost no head in my favorite tulip glass. Smells of sour malt, metal, and sweat. Flavor is bready, light orange peel, and tonic water. Tastes cheap.

12oz bottle from the state store
Appearance: Crystal clear golden with a nice white head and some lacing
Aroma: Yeast, some citrus and fruits
Taste: Yeasty, some citrus and a nice hop bite in the finish
At first sip I didn’t like it, but it grows on you. This is a very nice beer for a hot day. Clean, crisp and smooth.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with nearly no head. Poor head retention and lacing. This is becoming a theme for this brewery. Aroma of citrus and slightly metallic hops with caramel. Taste is bitter citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied.

Sampled from 12 oz bottle. Pours a golden color with small white head. Aroma is malty, with touches of citrus. A very balanced beer with a nice hop and malt character. Flavor is about the same. Pretty standard, and not as good as some of their other beers.
