Tap at the brewery, this was an aged 2011 version. Amber colour, slightly cloudy. Fluffy, bubbly, golden yellow head. Aroma is booze, fruity, yeasty. Taste very nice. Can smell the alcohol. Woody, bit of calvados, brandy. Thick honey sweetness. Apples, apricot. Very nice. Full bodied but smooth. Ap 3 ar 8 t 9 p 34 o 1516

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. This was advertised as a long-aged version of their Premium Bock, and seems quite different to the previous ratings here. A maibock. Thick, honey golden with a huge, thick head. Really nice bready, biscuity nose with honey, peaches. Very tasty. Bready, malty, nice fruity, peaches stewed with honey, a bit of alcohol and a bit of hop. Really comes together beautifully. Great maibock.

dark amber color. A lot of dried apricots and a bit of milk chocolate. Moderately sweet. A bit muddled. Not sure what it wants to be, thought certainly not bad.
