25 cl can, as Xtra Shot. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is malty, alcohol. Sweet. Toasted and alcohol finish.

Deep golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, cardboard, honey like malt sweetness, corn, some alcohol.
Tastes sweet and quite boozy, with about the same aromas and some more herbs.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes boozy, sweet, a bit herbal, with grains, herbs, cardboard, corn, honey.

Doesn’t taste dirty or something, typical macro lager, except that it’s much too boozy, much too sweet and much too flat. My first Malt Liquor to complete all styles, not sure I’ll have another one...

Can 0.237l. Clear, gold colored. AROMA- low, malt. FLAVOR- sweet, malt, corn, warming alcohol presence. Lightly full bodied, a bit syrupy.

[9/29/15] Bottle at Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul. As Efes Xtra Shot. Grainy aroma with corn, a bit of hay, and a bit of alcohol. Sweetish grainy and corny flavor, a bit bitterish, with a slightly alcoholic finish. Quite light-bodied. Not good, but not as bad as I expected. Quite clean for 9%.

Can , many thank to Werckmeister. Golden color with huge white head. Sweet biscuity malt in aroma, notes of coffee. Sweet malty taste, with perfume notes, wet mop.

Can shared. Aroma syrupy, corn. Clear golden colour. Taste is unnecessarily alcoholic, overly sweet, syrupy, corn. Need to hear more?

Thanks to frau Eva for bringing a 237ml can back home from Balcova, Izmir. As Efes xtra Shot 9 % abv Declining white, aftershave head to a bright golden body. Dotted spots on the glass. Smell of mid-sweet pale malts, tolerable vapour of alcohol. Mild caramel flavour joined by grain and rather harsh alcohol to the ending. Soft carbonated. Drinkable, to be polite (Tromsø 22.05.2015).

Golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of alcohol, a touch of metal, malt and a very light rice or grain smell - not too pungent actually. Light-bodied; Relatively mild flavour at first with only some light metal and alcohol coming through, but mostly a smooth maltiness with a touch of honey even and some light grass flavours. Aftertaste shows some light honey and malt with not much else - very watery, which is a nice surprise given the alcohol percentage. Overall, a decent beer considering the alcohol and the style, but there isn’t much here for most drinkers! I sampled this 50 cL can purchased for TL5,50 at Green Supermarket in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, Turkey earlier today on 17-April-2014 sampled later in the day in my apartment here in Istanbul, Turkey on 17-April-2014.
