Tap at Keyaki. Amber coloured, clear, hardly any head. Aroma is malty, toffee and caramel. Taste is ok, lots of malt, not much else. Bread. It's nice enough but not exciting at all.

On tap at CBM Koenji. Clear amber with a nice soapy off-white head. Light aromas of malt, toffee and caramel. Taste is very malt forward with a hint of apricot and fig. Sweet finish, but not overly-cloying. --- Beer merged from original tick of Malty Field on 22 Sep 2015 at 16:37 - Score: 6

med amber color, a touch earthy, apricot nose. Mouth is quit hoppy, with moderate malt backbone. Pleasant, balanced, amber ale.

Draught @ Tadg’s, Kyoto. Rated on 09.09.2011
Aroma is rather light and a bit stale with malt and sweetish caramel. Palate is smooth but a bit thin. Flavour has sweetish malt and caramel. Some notes of berries common to Danish brews. Slightly hoppy finish. Feels like amber ale. Average stuff, nothing special.

Draught at Tadg’s. Medium copper color with a low, fine head. British nose of caramel malt, grassy hops. Rather malty and decent nose. Earthy flavor, grassy, light caramel. Mild but tasty, with a nice bitter finish. Not so exciting but nice enough.
