Pours black, very little espresso-like head. Aroma is dark malts, lactose, lot of cocoa. Medium to heavy body, smooth, thick mouthfeel. Flavour is creamy, vanilla, cocoa, dark malts, lactose. More like vanilla-chocolate milkshake! Another amazing beer geek.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda 20 Okt 17. Svart. Lavt brunt skum som daler sakte. God vaniljearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken sammensatt. Vanilje. Lakris. Sjokolade. Behagelig tørr ettersmak.

Oh wow, amazingly rich. Thick and gluggy, milkshake texture indeed! Plenty of coffee, some chocolate, but loads of vanilla. Sweet and boozy.

Shared can from Mikkeller San Diego, at Cardinal Mikkeller tasting. Pitch black colour, minimal tan head of poor retention. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar, vanilla and coffee. Very sweet flavour of vanilla and coffee, too sweet and one-dimensional for my taste.

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger, at Mikkeller tap take-over. This beer is from Mikkeller, San Diego. Pours black with almost no head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, ethanol, coffee. Tastes very sweet with little roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied, smooth mouth feel, sweet finish.
