With 13% alcohol this Imperial Stout pours black with a thick fluffy tan head. Aromas are sweet filled with vanilla. Palate starts with milky sweetness and offers roasted malts, chocolate and coffee.

330ml bottle. Black with a small tan head. Aroma has mountains of vanilla, chocolate. Taste is sweet, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, malts, all in good balance, rich and decadent. Full body, soft carbonation, creamy, smooth. This will probably be one of my favourite beers of all time.

30 November 2018. Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to Anke, tderoeck & 77ships! '2018 edition' according to the booklet, but this doesn't seem to be a noteworthy detail. Hazy black with a lasting, thin, off-white head; little lacing. Intense aroma of vanilla, mocha, cookie dough, coffee liqueur, cream, milk chocolate, praliné. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, quite creamy, hint of vanilla, some milk chocolate; light to medium roasted bitter, coffeeish but spicy too with licorice & cookie. Dryish, earthy hoppy finish, lingering nuts, vanilla, cream, warming cream liqueur alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Truly delivers, even if it's almost a bit overdone.

Sampled at Billie's 2018. Black with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have lots of dark bitter malts. Unfortunately the vanilla is too strong and seems a bit artificial.

Bottle. Pours black with large brown head. Aroma is rambutan fruit, coconut, vanilla, milk, coffee, milk chocolate, soy sauce and smoked ham. Taste is medium sweet, medium to very bitter and light salty. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and very rich

Black with almost no head. Aroma is vanilla chocolate cocoa molasses amarena something milky. Taste is sweet intense and bitter harsh with oily texture and smooth mouthfeel. Drinkable. Cocoa finish. Very nice.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma color cappuccino scarsa ed evanescente, colore nero, al naso caffè cioccolato al latte vaniglia liquore al caffè liquirizia, in bocca malto tostato caffè cioccolato fondente zucchero di canna liquore al caffè e liquirizia, carbonatazione piatta, corpo consistente, oily, vellutata, complessa, dolce con amaro deciso lungo nel finale. Di sicuro non una birra anonima ma per i miei gusti troppo estrema e faccio fatica a finirla. 20.01.18
