Bottled. A brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and roasted bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. The body is light.

Dec 2009: 33cl Brown bottle, poured into a Gordon’s Thistle shaped glass. Brewed 23 Sept 09, best before 23 Jan 10. Ruby red body, clear. Off-white head, thin but a full covering throughout the tasting. Caramel and malts in the nose, but no huge aroma. Thin malt taste, a bit disappointing to be honest, no depth or fullness of body. Too watery for a decent Christmas beer and no spice or warmth to be found within it. Glad it was a small bottle, started looking for something to eat half way through the review because I found the beer boring and bland.

Laffer Malzantrunk in wässriger Umgebung. Nachdem das Bier im mittelteil kurz karamellig wird war es das auch schon mit den Aromen, von nun an wird das Bier wieder laffer, fast wässrig, nur minimal malzig. Ein langweiliges Bier. 7/6/7/6/6/6

Bottle - Thanks to MarcusM for this beer! Clear, deep brown body. Lightly brown head with creamy rocks. Soapy and malty aroma. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not very well balanced.
