Bottle - Thanks to MarcusM for this beer! Clear, deep brown body. Lightly brown head with creamy rocks. Soapy and malty aroma. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not very well balanced.

Near gushing to huge yellowish head, leaving good lace, over deep-chestnut coloured beer. Milk chocolate, moccha, bit of pine, but finishing generally sweet. Dry leafy, near woody taste, faint spicey and bitterish. No trace of excess sweetness, but all the same a (discreet) flavour of dark candi sugar. Very slight burning MF; medium bodied, not thin. This is a quite decent beer. A dryish Vienna, that’s what I’d call it - is it really an ale?
