Bottle from Beer Station Zlaté Piesky Not really smashing. Okay juicy IPA. Hazy not really. But nice, finally an IPA without Jama feel

on tap at Bratislavsky Oktoberfest. Hazy golden color with lower white head. Aroma: rich juicy, mango, papaya, pine. Taste: resins, fruity rollercoaster - grapefruit, mango, nicely accompanied but just necessary body. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. I guess my new favorite from Jama.

F: big, almost white, good retention. C: shiny orange gold, hazy, opaque. A: tangerine, orange, mango, passion fruits. T: mango, bit orange, tangerine, bit lactic tones, bit earthy, harmonic not very offensive bitterness, “juicy” mouthfeel, I am not sure but probably my first beer of NEIPA style in Slovakia and really good, fully enjoyed, from tap @ Žil Verne in Bratislava.

Tap at Zil verne. Hops centered, with high bitterness, but also moderate sweetish fruity body. The hops character is exotic, juicy, fruity. Overall it is a far better NEIPA interpretation than I expected. It does turn to a classic IPA quickly though (a few days later). Only a slightly yeasty cheesy off note. Good one.

Bottle from beer[malade]. Golden color with thick white head. Aroma of distinct citrus hops with grapefruits, zest, pines. Taste, solid malty base followed by distinct citrus hoppy bitterness with oranges, zest, pines, earthy notes. Long hoppy bitter finish. Good.
