Tap at Žil Verne. Classic hefeweizen. It has everything what would you expect from this style, banana, yeast... Yep it's missing any surprises, but honestly, would you expect any surprise from German?

Aroma: Yeasty, malty, light banana.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow color. Medium, white head.
Taste: Medium sweet, malty, banana.
Palate: Medium body. Light sweet finish.
Overall: Average weizen.

F: huge, off-white, good retention. C: pale gold, hazy. A: malt, wheat, banana, spicy, a bit of vanilla. T: malt, banana, wheat, very watery for me, light body, medium carbonation, not bad and that’s all but refreshing. Sampled from tap @ Salon Piva in Bratislava.

Tap at Salon piva. Quite good, slightly too yeasty, which also increases the body slightly above the needed level - that is not a fault at all though. The classic banana-weizen combo is present. Easy drinking. Quite good.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. orange very very dense cloudy beer, small white head. smells spices, lightly leathery, citric, musty, some funk. nice smell but a bit on the sour side. light to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, spices, some peach, banana, lightly musty. finishes lightly sweet with notes of caramel, spices and some peach. decent one but has some hints of uncleanliness (which are not a distraction yet though). overall rather drinkable and smooth.
