On tap at the brewpub. Slovak brewery no. 84, knock knock Gunthar. Looks like a black pearl in the glass under tall beige head. Light coffeeish aroma with sweet line. Taste of dark chocolate, some coffee, light to medium bitter. I like, tasty.

On tap at the brewpub. Black coloured, medium to big sized creamy beige head, quite mild choco/coffee nose. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, pretty strong licorice and traces of alcohol with dry and bitterish roasty finish. Well done here.

Keg at Fabrika, Bratislava. Opaque black, mid sized firm head. Distinct aroma of tobacco, raw licorice and dates. Mid sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, licorice, hay, prunes. Mid bitter finish. Delicious!

0,3l from tap at Pivobrana Festival Bratislava shared by me. black color, small tan head. smells of coffee, licorice, coffee grounds, roast, spices, overall nice smell but there is a light uncleanliness that is bothering me. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, roast, licorice, light herbal, very light sweetness, hints of ash, light bitter chocolate. finishes very roasty and quite a lot of coffee grounds. very bitter / very coffee roasted beer, this is probably not for everyone, but it quite hits my preferance. loved the taste, the small had some light off-notes, overall good stuff, drinks quite good (for me at least) Bitterness / Roast: 4,5/5
