ROUNDED & FRUITY. Grimbergen Rouge, flavoured with red fruits, subtly combines the character of an abbey beer with the sweetness and notes of strawberry, cranberry and elderberry. Its purple colour with intense reflections and its slightly pink foam indicates a unique flavour.

33 cl bottle poured in to a Flute. Clear ruby colour with a creamy pink-ish head. Sweet aroma with red berries, sugars, caramel malts and fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Sweet finish with fruits and red berries. Too sweet for my liking.

Opalescent pinkish ruby colour, one inch of pinkish head; aroma of strawberry and raspberry with some bready notes; taste of sweet strawberry syrup with some hoppy bitterness in the background; well, definitely not among the best fruit beers I've tasted so far...

26.06.2018 -- 0.25l bottle in a grimbergen set from coop in birsfelden. pours an almost clear mahogany red with a dense pink head. aroma of berries, rowan, cranberries. flavour of cranberries and strawberries, some caramel malts. bittersweet finish. not too artificial. ok for a fruit beer.

0,33 bottle. A színe kicsit értelmezhetetlen, bár nem csúnya, hab közepes. Közepes szénsavasság. A gyümölcsös igazi sörök közöt- ráadásul belga apátságiként - sajnos eléggé üdítőital jellege van. Túl sok benne a sörbe nem illő összetevő.

The color is a bit incomprehensible, although not ugly, the head is medium. Medium carbonated. The real beers in the orchard, among others as a Belgian abbey, are unfortunately refreshing. There are too many ingredients in it that don’t fit into the beer.
