A delectable French Toast Stout, this beer is for those times when you want to indulge. Chocolatey brown with a caramel head, each sip floods the mouth in vanilla, lactose and maple syrup and layers of toasty malt flavours with a touch of cinnamon. Naughty and nice, this winter brew simply begs for a #cheatday. Quick, while no one's watching. Tap at the Great Northern Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, burnt treacle, maple syrup. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, toffee caramel, oily, sweet maple syrup palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. Dark brown. Vanilla and maple nose. Super creamy and very sweet. Nailed the brief but almost too sweet for me.

From a 500ml can on 11/8/2019 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a deep brown with a small head. Has a a decently strong vanilla, chocolate, maple and eggy aroma. Sweet flavours follow, with all of the aforementioned attributes. Slick palate with moderate carbonation. An enjoyable sweet dessert stout.
