Balter sent hearts aflutter earlier this year with its Hazy IPA. So for GABS they went and made a bigger version. You know what that means! More hops (including a few experimental ones)! Expect tropical fruit, mango and citrus with light piney dank notes.

Deep golden with a little haze. Enormous pineapple nose. Backs it up with explosion of hoppy flavours. Action packed. Best beer I've had from these guys.

From a 500ml can on 9/9/2019. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a biggish white head. Has a strong tropical fruit salad nose. In the mouth, it's nice and sweet, dominated by mango and pineapple with a very mild spicy bitterness in the background. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Simple but really nicely balanced and super smashable for the size. This is the first Balter I really rate. Way better than their standard hazy and normal IIPA for mine.

Tap at the Northern Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, zesty jammy orange marmalade citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a juicy citrus, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
