(Thx! for sharing) Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Black, mocha tanned. Nose is herbal, big on roast, bitterness, licorice, roots, sugar, bitter herbal. Taste is bitter ash, herbal roast, roots, very bitter, huge roast,… Very dry, bitter & herbal. Way too heavy on bitterness, roast, roots, licorice,… Harsh beer.

English oatmeal stout with creamy, dense, deep beige head and black robe. Aroma has smoked meat, baked banana, toasted bread, liquorice, pepper; sweetish, thick taste, deep maltiness, nutty, roasted and smoky accents, peppery hop bitterness, velvety mouthfeel. Lovely stout.

Can from beer gonzo, Coventry. Black colour with a thick beige head. Aroma coffee and roasted malt. Taste has coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Nice one.

Tasted from the tap on the 13/06/2015. Pours black colour with good retention beige head. Aroma of coffe and roasted malts. Taste is creamy with presence of chocolate, coffee and some roasted malts. Nice Stout. Next one please!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige huge head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of band-aid, mocha, caramel, milk chocolate, a bit off. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sour, caramel, bitter hops, coffee, dried fruits, bit sweet. Aftertaste: coffee, dark chocolate, malty, little chemical.

Can. More or less pitch black colour with a small brown head, which still lasts for quite a while. Aroma is roasted malts, some roasted black coffee, mild chocolate, a bit toffeeish and fudgelike notes along with some ripe fruits. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance, but also has a bit of liquorice to it. Palate is just about perfect in tihs one, thick and bold, but at the same time very gently smooth.
