Cacao and coffee flavours play a key role in this luxurious and smooth stout, made with a roasted malt bill and some oats to add creaminess.

On tap @Pulp Pub. Pours average, light brown head that diminishes a bit quickly. Very dark brown color, creamy texture. Aromas of roasted malt, hints of molasses and nuts, but chocolate and coffee flavors take over. But then, it also gives some hints of brown sugar, vanilla, and orange peel. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, very well balanced. Significantly light body for a stout. Was paired well with plate of cold cuts, salami and a spicy paprika sauce.

Can from Drygate, black beer with a thin beige head. Smell is sweet, fruity malt and coffee. Flavour is much the same, though there’s the creaminess you’d expect from a milk stout.

330ml can from Ales by Mail
Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, milk chocolate, coffee beans and hints of berries. Taste is smooth, roasty and salty with hints of licorice, coffee and berries. Finish is smooth and roasty with some licorice, coffee and cocoa. Okay, quite balanced stout.

A colablack beer with a medium and brown head. Nice aroma with coffee, balanced sweetness, chocolate, some liquirice and vanilla. Taste has coffee and roastiness, liquirice, refreshning citrusfruity bitterness in the end. Overally, the taste is quite powerful with that alc. %. Medium bodied, quite smooth. The great intensivity and strenghtness, tasteful.
