Bottle @ World Cup Brasil Tasting. Cheers to Hallinghansen. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Roast, charcoal, ashes, coffee and chocolate. Smooth and full bodied.

Bottle @ Christers. Pours black with a creamy light brown head, nice lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, caramel. Flavor is malty, caramel, coffee, rich dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation. 110614

Bottle, 5,4%. Black with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and medium bitter.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 110614

Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, lactose sugar, chocolate, coffee and hops. Nice.

Bottle at home from sourced Market i think. Opaque dark brown / black with a medium thin tan head. Aroma is earthy roast malt, blackberry and mixed hedgerow fruits. Some chalky mineral and dark choc in the nose as well. Flavour is big bitter roast coffee, roasted barley, bitter dark choc with some jammy berry fruits playing backing roles. Lingering slightly harsh bitter finish. Palate is chalky mineral, some milkyness, dryish finish. Big bold bitter stout.

(Draught at Craft Islington, London, 12 Apr 2014) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and cacao. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, cacao, black rye bread and a creamy chocolate bitterness in the finish. Medium body, smooth and rounded mouthfeel. A touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced stout. Very nice.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy dark brown with a frothy medium tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee with some earthy mineral notes. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich malt alcohol light creamy liqourice palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to jmgreenuk. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is big roasty with coffee, dark chocolate and licorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation.
