Bottle from the brewery. Golden brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is not so strong. Aroma is malty, slight hoppiness, toffee, slightly plastic like. Taste is malty, quite sweet, little bit of citrus in there, quite boozy. Like bit of butter too. It's alright, and maybe more interesting than most of their beers, but still their godfather is the best one they have in my opinion.

Draft - Citrus and mango. Clear dark gold with a nice white head. Nice citrus notes and some peel. Well balanced.

Difficult to decipher the bottle, hope this is the right entry, going on style and abv. Bar code: 4560347050299, best before 13.11.16. Bottle @ finca, brought by C&E from japan. Hazy orange coloured, with an off-white head. Nose is hoppy, tropical, a bit malty. Flavour is malty, tropical fruits, bit of pine. Fairly bitter, low-med carbonation. Finish is fairly bitter and dry. Good stuff.

Draft @Utsunomiya Gyoza Matsuri. Looks nice clean copper, maybe some red notes. Aroma not so strong but maybe because its still pretty cold (straight from tap). It’s possible to find some cookie sweetness, some mango from the aroma also. Taste is bitter, which is not surprising for an IPA. However, this one leaves a bit rough and unbalanced impression. It’s hoppy for sure but lacks complexity. It seems to be overhopped, so that the bitterness becomes a bit too overwhelming, shadowing all the taste that could have been there before. When beer gets warmer, aroma gets nicer as well, nicely fruity, although still simple. overall, not bad, I like it but not too much.
