Tap at Green Dragon. Fruity, bit of resin, bit of BO. Good stuff. Can't taste the booze. Bit of biscuit. Light bitterness.

Draught. Called an Imperial IPA but tastes lighter. Woody aroma. Full bodied hop with a good malt spine. Long lasting pleasant finish.

Draft pour pint att special brews. Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a big bubble head. Citrus hops aroma. Lighter body, cool flavor, and a big citrus finish. Medium bitterness. Lingering flavor. Honestly this has everything I look for in an IIPA. Very well done.

Tap at Bar Gernika. Not much of a head, but tons of sticky lacing. Big fruity, hoppy nose, some apricot. Taste is rich and full, hops dominate but don’t overpower. Sticky, fruity finish.

Sample at the Bistro’s DIPA-festival. Light amber with a white head. Hoppy and fresh with grapefruit, resin, light caramel and some malt. Also notes of grass and some warming alcohol. A pleasant one.

Tap @ Bier Thirty: Finally my first beer from Barley Browns… I’ve heard so much about their hoppy brews and its been a long wait. The color is nice, it’s a light copper orange with good clarity and a small beige head. Some lacing. The nose is relatively mild, pine and floral, but it comes through in the taste. Really solid hop flavors. Citrus and floral, a little bit of tropical fruit. Not much bitterness, but very nice hop flavors throughout. Looking forward to trying more brews from Baker City.

A little sweetness and a good touch of bitterness on the end. Another great hoppy beer from barely Brown’s.
