On tap @ Café De La Place in Bourlon with Rick. Hazy golden with a white head. Malty grainy aroma with some yeasty fruitiness. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Nice strong Bière de Garde

75cl bottle. Pours amber with a fine mist, off-white cream head. Aroma presents interesting sweet swirls which reveal themselves further to taste. Difficult to pin down what this beer's about, some Garde amber with a creamy sweetness that's hard to ascribe to hop or yeast. Strange one.

Monday 27th November 2023, Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie. Cheers Mat for the cork and caged 75cl bottle of this. Golden amber body, slight mist; off-white head. Light malty front to the aroma and taste, is there wheat in the brew? That would help to account for the unexpected banana like flavours that arrived in my glass.

Clear golden colour, white foam. Light sweet, some banana, estery, light bitter finish.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

piana spora, bardzo trwala, wewnatrz duvela obraczek torzy sie kilka. zlocista barwa, pachnie lekkim bananem. w smaku sezamki miodowe, lekki banan, troche skorki swierzego pszennego chleba, dobre, tresciwe, mineralne. jak na grand cru classe i na komercyjny browar nawet dobre. klarowne i przy tej klarownosci poprawnie ukryte alko.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, big frothy white head. Aroma: Malty, hop and yeast hints, orange. Taste: Starting malty, grainy, bit floral, biscuit notes. Moderate to over moderate sweet. After a few moments the hop(bitterness) comes in and gradually fades away the malty flavours. Moderate hopbitterness, some grassy, floral and subtle citrus fruit (mostly orange, tangerine). Finishing quite bitter, fruity orangepeel. Ok Bière de Garde.

Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is weak, mild sweet undertone, but not very malty. somewhat perfumy. Taste is medium intense, malty, sweet. Medium body, medium high carbo. Bit of honey. Decent, but pretty bland.
