A take on a classic English bitter with added richness from a toasted oak infusion, this ale is reminiscent of real ales when casks were made of oak and not steel. Flavor profile has a rich and layered malt flavor profile with delicate hoppiness playing a supporting role.

Tap at the Roundhouse. Very cask like, lots of malt, very soft, not really bitter, but like a Bitter. Maybe with some oaky softness. Light spiciness, biscuits. Unique!

Light perfumy hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light and perfumy citrus with a light finish. Quite hoppy and perfumy for a bitter.

Wenig karbonisierter Antrunk. Mild bitterer Start, geringe Würzigkeit. Milder Hopfen, wässrig herb. Spritzig, okay. 10/7/8/6//7
