Bottle from GBBF. It pours hazy deep mahogany brown, with a thin off-white head. The nose is earth, wood, dark fruit, touch of malt vinegar and vinous notes. The taste is lemon, malt vinegar, wood, earth, dark fruit and a touch of spice, with a lightly sour finish. Light body and fine carbonation. A light and easy going sour.

Hazy dark amber color; small head, but a thin layer is persistent. The aroma is nice, mild, sour and fruity, with red wine tones and very light hazelnuts. Smooth body; the flavor is quite woody, with soft tannins, mild and pleasant vinous character, a light touch of nuts; some astringency appears in the end, with fresher fruits, and even an impression of strawberries.
Very balanced, and quite mild in this category, elegant.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Hazy amber, brief lively head. Vinous, lactic nose with notes of cherry and oak. Mid sweet, medium body, spritzy well roiunded mouthfeel. Some lactic tartness, some chardonnay. Low bitterness . Lovely flavours, good drinkability.

Cloudy red - brown beer. Thick biscuit coloured head. Crispy dry palate. Sour! Mouth tingly sour with a tart cherry finish. Slight metallic note. Finishes tart and dry. Interesting!

Bottle at Patricks. It pours an unclear, orange-golden body and a dense light beige head. It’s lightly sourish one, with some maltyness and a touch of berries. Smooth on the palate, medium to full body, maybe a bit too effervescent. Sourness and a touch of caramel in the flavor. A light honey touch too. Lasting finish. Sure a tasteful and pleasant one, although there’s a sugary touch too it. 120317

On tap at Bangers & Lace. Pours a clear deep ruby amber with an off white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a good amount of red fruit that are slightly tart with a bit of sweetness and a hint of earthy grains. Flavor has a lot of red fruit with a hint of tartness backed by an earthy note as well as some acid.

2011 Vintage Red-amber to foxy brown beer, fully hazy, with a fine pearling to cream coloured, medium head. Fruity/woody nose, (milk)chocolate; smelling dry with a light hint at acidity. Jamaica pepper. Again wood, dry & sourish, with fruity and indeed chocolate touches. Bit of lemon, but also sour cherry and lactic acid. Pleasant tartness. Very spritzy MF, dry, medium bodied, apparently well-attenuated. Very pleasing, convincing Oud Bruin. Seen it is mainly a basic beer for blending, results could be spectacular indeed. But by Jove, what an utterly ridiculous pricetag...

Hazy orangebrown colour with a tan head. Fruity and acidic aroma. Taste like a fruity vinegar. Must be perfekt in a sauce. But not in my mouth.

On tap at HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival, Drammen. Brownish red (more than reddish brown) colour, moderate off-white head. Fruity, oaky and vinous aroma, slightly acidic. (According to the brewer, no grapes nor any other fruit has been added to the beer, but it has fermented and matured in oak barrels previously used for their grape-infused beers), The flavour is oaky, fruity and slightly acidic / vinegary, but lacks a hoppy counterpoint, and there is not much malty sweetness either.
