@ Borefts 2014. Hazy golden colour, white head. Well balanced saison. Light sweet with bitter hoppy aftertaste. Some notes of caramel and fresh hops. Good saison.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Italian Beer Week-end / Zwanze 2014 CML. Cheesy fresh hops, light odd yoghurt note, fruity, white gapes. Odd sweetish taste, malt, sugar, candy, yeasty, caramel, spices, fruity, less yoghurt than in the nose, alternative grains, pepper. Bit dull body. Okay, strange fare as used to from Freigeist. Saison? Than again Saison is the vaguest of all beer-styles.

Draught Very huge, ultrafine & dense head, paler golden beer, lacerings. Pickles, whiffs of acetic acid, sorrel. Spicy, dry spices, malts & other grains. Dry finish. Less acidity than the nose suggests. CO², quite present. Maybe medium bodied, quite slick. Long lasting spicy-malty-yeasty main taste, no new aftertaste. Not only it’s not a Saison, it even doesn’t carry the spirit of (strong) Saison.

Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Cloudy yellow-straw with a bubbly-creamy head. Has a lemon-pineapple citrus aroma and taste with a bitter kick.

A cloudy, yellow beer with a big and blond head. The nose is strongly aromatic, oranges, lemon, fruits and flowers, some spices and sweetness. Taste has sweet mandarin, lots of spices, oranges and citrusfruity sourness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Not so Saison like but who cares when the beer is good. Aromatic with lots of citrusfruits.

Lively, hazy golden saison with a foamy head and a spicy peach smell. There’s a sharp spice element to the flavour as well with the tropical, yeasty fruit coming through. Complex and tasty.
