Gelungen! 6/13/11/13/9/13

Sampled from a 0.375l bottle @ Haandfest 2014. A cloudy slightly murky one, dark brown in color. No real head worth mentioning. Lovely nose! Thick toffee caramel, wood, a spicy tone and it smells absolutely OK. Or perhaps a tad more than tan OK. Lovely? Lots and lots of flavor. Again, caramel and fudge infused. Not sharp at all. Malty balanced. Slightly mouthdrying. No alcohol detected what so ever, and it's really integrated and balanced. Quite a delicious one. Would not mind a bottle alone. 24.05.2014

Bottle, at Haand Festival -14. It pours a clear, brown body topped by a minimal sized off-white head. Almost no head at all actually, just a thin layer of bubbles. It’s sugary malty on the nose, almost candyish, with alcohol, dried fruits, prunes mostly, and some woody hints. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, trying to balance the malty sweetness. Alcohol, prunes and a woody touch too. Full body, warming and soft on the palate. Sligthly oily. Some bitterness in the mostly sweet, dried fruits finish. Overall, too warming, still a really lovely beer. 140523

37.5cl bottle from Geers, BB 04/2026, lot# L11026.
